A ROCKET TO THE MOON. I was soo excited to meet them since they are one of my favorite bands. Its a super long story on how I got to go so heres a shorter version. Basically I have this friend who got tickets for him and three friends. He was basically talking about this for like 2 months prior and I was of course jealous. A week before the concert my other friend (who was orignially sposed to go) and I where talking and she said that she couldn't go so I immediately told her that I would go in her spot. Its confusing I know but they are all really sweet and the concert was awesome.

Chapter 1
Charlie Sinclair we leave for the airport in five minutes my mother called up to me. I quickly put away my picture of my beloved horse Ben who we recently had to put down due to age. He had been my life for the past 7 years. He had basically got me through college and some of high school. But now I was off to Arizona for grad school. I grabbed my suitcases and took one last look around my room. This was my same room from high school so all the walls where covered with horse and band posters.
“Goodbye room” I said quietly to myself as I side and continued down to my mom’s car.
“You excited” my mom asked as we drove down the street
“Yup to finally be going to grad school was invigorating for me”.
You see I had this plan ever since I was 18 and I saw the band the Maine. I would attend grad school in Arizona at Prescott College then somewhere along the way I would meet my future husband Garrett Daniel Nickelsen the hottest man ever in my opinion.
After driving a good thirty minutes we finally arrived at sea-tac airport. We pulled the car up to the curb and me and my jumped out.
“Ok sweaty this is it good luck” my mom said as I finished getting my last bag out. She gave me a hug that lasted a little longer than it should have but her baby was going to grad school so I understood.
“Thanks mom for all your help tell Daddy I say hi and that I love him”. I will baby girl love you she said as I started for the entrance.
After checking in I still had some time to kill so I went to starbucks and got my beloved caramel mocha frappachino. It would be my last for a while in the town where it originated. Twenty minutes my flight was called I took a deep breath and got out my ticket and waited for my turn in line. Finally it was my turn so I gave the sweet lady my ticket and took another big breath as I took off down the tarmac “No turning back now” I said quietly to myself.
Three hours later we had landed in Phoenix Arizona. Since I didn’t have a place yet in Prescott I would stay with my cousin Sarah in Gilbert or chillbert (as Garrett calls it) ☺. Our grandmas where sisters so we weren’t that close but we were close enough. After getting my bags from baggage claim I stepped outside into the hot Arizona weather and waited for her to arrive. Sure enough ten minutes later she pulled up and got out of her black Saab.
“Charlie it’s so good to see you” she said excitedly as we ran to give each other a hug. We got my entire luggage in the back and took off again. “So how are you?” she asked as we got on to the freeway. “I’m good busy but good and you” I asked taking in the dry scenery of Arizona. “ I’m good also just also busy raising Kylie but the neighbor boy helps out”. Kylie was her seven-year-old daughter that I met once as a baby but not since then. The rest of the car ride was filled with light talking and just enjoying the sun. Fifteen minutes later we arrived at a cute two-story stucco house that looked much like the other homes around it. Across the street was Kylie with a guy that was really hot and looked oddly familiar.
“Mommy” Kylie yelled running across the street “ Ky this your cousin Charlie” I leaned down to her eye level and gave her hand a shake in which she accepted shyly she then ran to the now open front door and ran inside. Thanks Garrett Sarah called from the open front door. Charlie leave them there Garrett will get them Sarah yelled towords me. I ran up the steps into the house and wanted to squeal upon entering Garrett Nickelsen was my cousins neighbor Oh My Gosh.
